The Sires’ Record is a yearbook sent free to British breeders and European industry professionals that provides comprehensive, independent and accurate data of stallion performance on the racetrack and in the sale ring for the 2010 Flat season.
Drawn from the subscription database maintained by the-racehorse.com, which has been publishing full European race data since 2006, the yearbook is in effect the Wisden of stallion performance, with full details for the active sires on the list of the top 300 sires in Europe, plus an array of leading sire lists. It is the only place you will find this data published in one place.
In order to complete the job quickly and efficiently once the data was available I used InDesign to set up data merge fields which matched the style of the publication. Spending time setting this up in advance meant that once the final data was exported I was able to quickly produce the final layout for approval.
For this publication I have carried out a full publishing service including all design, typesetting, print management and copy chasing.
The Sires Record is published by Harbury Media.
